AKSHATA Cluster 4 began its sowing of seeds with non other than the minister of Agriculture Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, The Deputy Minister of Agriculture Hon. Angajan Ramamanthan, Managing Director AKSHATA Mr. Roshan Perera and a host of other dignitaries, it was an auspicious day indeed !
Over 150 acres of this land has not been cultivated for 70 years due to the recently concluded terrorism that affected the land and the livelihood of thousands of farmers. This makes these lands uniquely fertile and free of any Toxic chemicals which will produce organic Rice with minimum effort.
